Chalkboard Frame

This project is super easy to make, it just involves waiting and letting this dry so its not one of those immediate result projects, just a delayed 48 hours or something along those lines. I really liked this project as it is super practical and cheaper to make then to buy something similar in the store. And when you have all the colour selections of paint at your local craft store vs. the three colour options at the store, I don't know how it could get better. haha.

Supplies:

- Old Frame [I picked mine up at a local thrift shop for 2 dollars
-Paint
-Paint Brush
-Chalkboard paint
- Clear Paint Protector [if you want]
-Masking Tape [not pictured]

1. If anything needs sanded down, go ahead and smooth that out. I started out painting my frame first. I ened up applying around 4-5 coats.

2. After the paint is completely dry, I waited 24hrs. after I finished painting, use masking tape and cover all painted areas.

3. Take your frame out and chalkboard spray your center frame. Make sure to read the instructions of how to apply the spray as it varies from brand to brand.

4. Touch up anything that needs touched up, but you should have a finished board!
